The 2020 Pilkada democracy party is rolling out. The campaign period for regional head candidates has also been running. Especially, the Korem 101/Antasari Commander has carried out a mapping of the areas rated vulnerable. And special monitoring has been carried out.
“So far, South Kalimantan is conducive. We observe that it is safe and under control, this condition must be maintained and improved,” said Danrem 101/Antasari Brigadier General of the TNI, Firmansyah, Friday (02/10/2020).
Danrem said that the TNI was ready to secure the Pilkada. The potential for vulnerability will always be there, his parties has carried out mapping related to vulnerable areas.
“We appreciate the work of the press personel in South Kalimantan in terms of providing news,” he said.
According to Danrem, the media are the vanguard and partner of the TNI. “If the media does not help, the results of the TNI’s work are not known to the public. For that, the existing cooperation will continue to be maintained,” he said.
The Danrem, who is originally from Banua, hopes to jointly carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with their respective fields for the nation and state.
“The TNI and the media have a responsibility to provide education, outreach and knowledge for the community. It should be preaching something soothing and building,” he said.
