Bengkulu – Bengkulu Governor, Rohidin Mersyah, declared development of Children Safe House for legally problematic child and special need child in every cities and districts in Bengkulu province. Wednesday, (23/09)
This program will cooperated with Jambi Special Protection Child Rehabilitation Centre (AMPK) and social ministry of Republic Indonesia.
Rohidin hope synchronization program and joint effort from all party at once. From district government, through Women and Child Protection office, Social office, social rehabilitation and orphanage. Rohidin said that there are too much child cases. Child violence in family, child sexual violence and juvenile delinquency
“So, this is need cooperation from all parties, from government and people support” Rohidin said after receiveing audience of AMPK Aliyatama Jami, in Regional building of Balai Raya Semarak, Bengkulu
It is said by Rohidin that Bengkulu Government will propose assistance for children in orphanage and social home and will coordinate through AMPK Jambi
“We proposed some of our children in orphanage and social centre to receive monthly assistance from social Social Ministry of Republic Indonesia” Rohidin added
Head of Jambi AMPK Aliyatama, Imron Rosadi, said that AMPK will accommodate Rohidin plan
“Actually, social assistance for child is already since last year. We are in 2021 will continue that program with 1 million/child and this is depend on proposal from orphanage and will guarded by Province Social Office and Woman and Child Protection office” Imron explained
It is known from AMPK data that cash social assistance for orphanage have been delivered to about 189 assistances for 2020 year
