Ministry of Defense Builds Digital Document Filing System

Jakarta – The Ministry of Defense through the Ministry of Defense’s Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) builds and implements the Ministry of Defense’s Manuscript Digitization (Takah) system. With this system, the document filing process within the Ministry of Defense has been done digitally.

The implementation of the system begins with the Ministry of Defense’s Manuscript Digitalization Socialization activity which is carried out virtually and officially opened by Deputy Minister of Defense Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Tuesday (3/11) in Jakarta.

In his speech, the Deputy Minister of Defense, which was delivered virtually, welcomed the construction of the Digitalization of the Ministry of Defense Manuscripts. According to him, the digital document archiving process can be used for document use authority and can be distributed quickly to certain parties.

With the Manuscript Digitization system, the data flow of incoming and outgoing mail documents is digitally sorted by type of letter to be passed and distributed from top management to flow gradually to staff to be implemented according to disposition.

“With this system, the Ministry of Defense has a centralized and integrated document archive database, and can support the assessment of the Ministry of Defense’s SPBE (Electronic-Based Government System), because it already has a system that can be shared with the same system”, added the Deputy Minister of Defense.

Also attending virtually at the Ministry of Defense’s Manuscript Digitalization socialization event were the Inspector General of the Ministry of Defense, Lt. Gen. Ida Bagus Purwalaksana, S.I.P., M.M. and all Echelon I and II officials within the Ministry of Defense.
