South Kalimantan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Participates in the Brunei Darussalam BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC) Exhibition

BANJARMASIN- Two delegates from the South Kalimantan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Kalsel), Nooryanto and Muhammad Hairi took part in the BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC) Exhibition, carried out a visiting mission to Brunei Darussalam.

To take part in small and medium business exhibition BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC) Brunei Darussalam Exhibition. Monday (16/10/2023) arrived in Entikong, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan Province, which has a land border with East Malaysia, Sarawak.

Two South Kalimantan IMI delegates drove a Mitsubishi Triton double cabin car to take part in the small and medium business exhibition (BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC) in Brunei Darussalam which was attended by 4 countries, namely, Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Departing from the South Kalimantan IMI Secretariat on October 15 and arriving in Brunei on October 16, this date will be rescheduled for October 26, 2023.

BEV 2025 aims to achieve 3 key outcomes: (i) a competitive and environmentally friendly manufacturing sector that transitions from resource extraction to higher levels of processing and value-added production; (ii) sustainable, competitive and climate-resilient agro-industry and fisheries that guarantee food security, export development and livelihoods; and (iii) BIMP-EAGA as a sustainable, well-developed and connected multi-country tourism destination that benefits less developed regions.

BIMP-EAGA B2B Expo 2023 is organized by BEBC to support BEV2025 whose goals and objectives are to increase trade, tourism and investment. Bringing together businesses from EAGA member countries and beyond, showcasing products and services.
