In a heartwarming initiative, WPO Regional NTT-NTB, in collaboration with TK Udayana Bima, successfully conducted a “Friday Blessing” action by distributing iftar packages to the community. This social activity aims to educate and inspire children to engage in good deeds, nurturing noble character from a young age.
WPO, an international NGO, continues to advance its mission through movements focused on Peace, Health, Education, and Prosperity, as outlined in its core pillars.
The initiative, led by HE Mia Srikandi, Regional Director of WPO NTT-NTB, is a commendable effort that aligns with the Indonesian government’s vision for “Peace and Prosperity Indonesia Emas 2045.” This activity serves as a positive example that can be replicated across other regions in Indonesia, encouraging collective support for national progress.
The event’s success was reported by HE Mia Srikandi to the WPO Headquarters, through Deputy Secretary-General of WPO for Education, Culture, and Human Resource Development, HE Dr. Yenny Agoestian, MBA, Ph.D., via telephone. During this conversation, HE Yenny Agoestian also conveyed a peace message from WPO President Dr. Bambang Herry Purnomo, SH, MH. He emphasized the true meaning of fasting, which goes beyond abstinence and embodies values of peace, tolerance, and prosperity.
This initiative serves as a source of inspiration for the wider community to continue contributing to the greater good, with a vision of prosperity for all.
