Jakarta – Anticipating Covid-19 soaring, government decided to prohibit crowding at public space in Christmas and New Year holidat. Decision took in coordination meeting of Covid-19 handling in Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java and Bali virtually, monday (14/12) as been broadcast by official site of State secretariat, tuesday (15/12)
Luhut Pandjaitan, Coordinator Ministre of Maritime and Investation also Vice Chairman of Covid-19 Handling and Nationatal Economic Recovery, ask to implement tight health protocol since 18th of December 2020 until 8th of Januari 2021
The reason for that policy is the significant increasing number after holiday and mass leave in the end of October.
“Number of positive and death cases is increase significantly after holiday in 8 and 20 Provinces after decreasing trend before” Luhut said
From those Provinces, Luhut underlined trend of incleaning number in Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, South Sulawes, North Sumatra, Bali, and South Kalimantan.
Luhut especially as Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, for tightening Work From Home policy untill 75%
“I also ask Governor to continue restriction policy of operational hours until 07.00 pm and limited number people who gather in eating places, mall and entertainment area”
Easing tenant in malls, Luhut Panjaitan askd to mall ownver, through Jakarta Governer, to give rent facilitation and service charge for tenant.
“Relief scheme of rent and service charge ought to approve together between central shopping and tenants. For instance, profit sharing or another option” Luhut said
In that opportunity, Luhut give guidance to Governors of West Java, Central Java and East Java to optimilize central isolation for strengthening yustisi operation to ensure central isolation and health protocol of 3M (Washing hand, Using mask, and keep distance)
“I also ask regional government to tighten social restriction in accordance to urban and suburban context” Luhut added
In urban area, regional government ask to tighten Work From Home implementation and operational hours restriction of food place, entertainment mall untill 08.00 pm. meanwhile, regional governemtn ask to implement social restriction in micro and community scale at sub-urban area.
For Bali, Luhut ask tightening health protocol in rest area, hotel and tourism sites.
“Tourists who want to travel to Bali have to follow PCR test in H-2 before flight and obliged rapid test antigenH-2 before road trip to Bali begin” Luhut explained
Luhut asked Health Ministre, Head of National Disaster Management Authority and Transportation Ministre to arrange the procedure
