SOLO – The elected Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, was furious that it linked his name to the wild issue of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) social help corruption scandal.
Gibran denied the information that it dragged him into the flow of corruption and social help, Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Juliari Batubara.
Gibran emphasized that he had never intervened or recommended the procurement of Goodie Bags from PT Sritex to a place for social help distributed by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
“That’s not true, I have never recommended, or ordered or interfered in social help matters, let alone recommending a goodie bag, it’s never true news,” said Gibran in between the distribution of nutrition for residents in Banyuagung, Solo, Wednesday (23/12/2020).
Gibran challenges anyone who claims to get involved in the flow of corruption and social help Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Juliari Batubara to prove it to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). In addition, he also asked for a crosscheck to Sritex.
“Later, please crosscheck the KPK, crosscheck to Sritex. It looks like Sritex has also issued a statement so that the news is untrue and cannot proved it. If you want corruption, why is it it’s only now, not first? No, I’ve never been like that, “said Gibran.
Regarding the campaign funds, Gibran invited all parties to examine. Bearing in mind, it conducted the report.
“You can check yourself, you can check all LHKPN, we can check all campaign funds online. Please check later with Mrs. Roro as the treasurer of the Gibran team, we have never covered it up,” said Gibran.
