Denpasar Immigration Office Going to Deport 2 Foreigners Tonight

Denpasar – Denpasar Immigration Office continues intensify supervision and strict action against foreigners who violate regulations that apply while in Bali. Tonight, Denpasar Immigration Office again deported 2 foreigners who violate regulations in Indonesia namely SS (20) Russian nationality and JDA (47) Australian nationality. SS is known to have activities as a Stand-Up Comedy artist. SS was arrested at a Stand-Up Comedy event located in Denpasar on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Head of Denpasar Immigration Office Tedy Riyandi explained that SS is the holder of a Socio-Cultural Visit Stay Permit valid until May 5, 2023. He entered Indonesia via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on March 7, 2023.

“Based on the results of the investigation, it was proven that SS was active as a standup comedy artist at a paid event held at the Reverside Convention Center. For his actions, we will give him Immigration Administrative Action for activities not in accordance with the stay permit.”, said Tedy Riyandi.

Furthermore, JDA, an Australian citizen who holds a permit Visit Stay valid until May 17, 2023 is the overflow of Bali Regional Police, Directorate of Drug Investigation. JDA is known to have 99 white tablets containing narcotics class I/type dexamphetamine.

The two foreigners are subject to Article 75 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. The two foreigners will soon be deported tonight to their home country with a return ticket they have prepared and their name were added to the blacklist.
