On April 18, 2025, the Young Catholic Community (OMK), Catholic Youth Union (PMK), and Catholic Women of the Republic of Indonesia (WKRI) joined forces with the faithful to celebrate Good Friday at St. Joseph’s Church in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
The solemn celebration was attended by various community elements and was secured by the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), National Police (POLRI), State Electricity Company (PLN), village officials, and community police officers.
HE. Mia Srikandi, Regional Director of the World Peace Organization (WPO) for East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), played a key role in coordinating the event alongside the Catholic Youth and Catholic Women of Indonesia, Bima NTB chapter. The WPO’s support through HE. Mia Srikandi demonstrates a shared commitment to promoting peace and harmony in the community.
