Indonesia Government Is Going To Build Shelter House for Women

Jakarta – Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection is going to build shelter house for women victim violences in all regents and municipalities in Indonesia

Ministre of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, I Gusti Ayu Bintang, said that shelter house is important because number of women whoe became victim of violences tend to rise significantly.

“This days, women became victim of violences. We will provide two legal officers and two psychologs to accompany women victim of violences in every regents and municipalities”. I Gusti said and discussion with theme “Women Role ini Building Nation Spirit” at House of Representative Media Centre, Jakarta, Friday (4/12) as been cited by siberindo group.

According to Ministre, that policy as state commitment and state guarantee to make safe, comfortable and welfare for people along with obligation to fulfill human right and protection for every body in accordance with equality principle at diversity.

“It is clear that all stake holders should put in the first line in building this nation especially women role” I Gusti explained

“However, our history demonstrated role of women in seizing and fulfilling Indonesia independence” Ministre added

It is said that December will be important for women in Indonesia because 22nd of December will be celebrated is mother day as an honour for Indonesia women

“Now, we are in December, the important month to remind the struggle of women in Indonesia. Every 22nd December, we will celebratd Mother Day. The choice of this day is with significant reasent that in 22nd of December 1928, held first women congress in Yogyakarta” Ministre explained
