Doctors in Banjarmasin Discuss the Impact of Global Intervention on Indonesian Health

A number of doctors and health workers in Banjarmasin held a discussion entitled “Beware of Global Interventions in Indonesian Health” on Sunday, January 12, 2024. The event, which took place at the Nizhamul Islam Learning House, Jalan Keramat Raya, East Banjarmasin, became a forum to discuss challenges and opportunities in health services in Indonesia, with a main focus on the impact of global interventions.

The discussion was led by Agung Sapta Adi, Presidium of United Indonesian Doctors, and attended by a number of leading doctors such as Yulizar Darwis, Pribakti B, and Subhan Yudi. This forum aims to align perceptions and formulate strategic steps to deal with various developing problems in the health sector, both at the national and international levels.

On that occasion, Yulizar Darwis, one of the speakers, emphasized the importance of a deep understanding of the dynamics of the development of health services in Indonesia which are increasingly complex. He considered this forum to be a very necessary forum to analyze various issues that can strengthen or weaken the quality of health services for the community.

Furthermore, Yulizar also emphasized the importance of involving competent speakers to explain issues that often cause confusion in the community. He hopes that this discussion can provide a clearer understanding and help improve the quality of existing health services.
