Fuel Stocks Safe During Eid Al-Fitr Exodus Departure Period: Pertamina

Jakarta – State-run oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) stated that the stocks of fuel were safe during the 2023 Eid al-Fitr exodus departure flow period, and no scarcity occurred.

“Alhamdulillah (thank God), we handled it well, there was no scarcity in exodus routes, and the fuel stocks were also safe,” President Director of Pertamina Nicke Widyawati said as quoted from a written statement received here Sunday.

Based on the monitoring of the Pertamina Integrated Enterprise Data and Command Center (PIEDCC), the peak of the exodus flow occurred on Thursday (April 20, 2023) or two days before Eid al-Fitr on Saturday (April 22, 2023), she said.

She further said that PIEDCC’s report is issued every day. Thus, fuel stock can be monitored in real-time.

Widyawati also appealed to people to use cashless payment methods for buying fuel in order to reduce queues at gas stations.

One of the non-cash payment methods provided at Pertamina’s gas stations is payment through the MyPertamina application. The application offers several deals for consumers.

For the 2023 Eid exodus period, Pertamina readied 402 motorcycle couriers to deliver fuel for vehicles stuck in traffic congestion, including on toll roads, through the Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS).
