How to Check Your Name in the Final Voters List

A way to check the names of voters in the DPT and the locations of polling stations (TPS) is by access Lindungihakpilihmu.kpu.go.id.

You should check you and your family’s status on the Final Voters List (DPT) before heading to the 2020 regional head elections (Pilkada) voting booth.

Indonesia will hold a regional head election (Pilkada) in less than 50 days on 9 December in nine provinces, 37 cities, and 224 regencies.

https://lindungihakpilihmu.kpu.go.id/ provides the information on registered Final Voters List (DPT) for people to check it.

It is straightforward and practical because voters can check via cell phone. It is also an effort to reduce the transmission of COVID-19.

Pilkada organizers such as the General Elections Commission (KPU) and Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) have also issued several regional election regulations that adhere to health protocols.

The steps to check through this page are:

First, go to the https://lindungihakpilihmu.kpu.go.id/ page. Second, there will be two adjacent columns appear on the homepage. The first column is simultaneous election voters’ data search and the second column is the recapitulation of voters’ data. Third, fill in the data in the simultaneous election voters’ data search column.

Fourth, fill in your regency/city, 16 digits of citizenship identity number (NIK), full name, and date of birth data in this column.

Fifth, click on the search menu under the column of the birth date. Data will appear, including the name of the voter, NIK, family card number (NKK), and polling station (TPS).

Make sure all personal data listed are correct and click the match button.

The recapitulation of voters’ data column is for the recapitulation amount per TPS. Fill in the data of your province, regency/city, district, and subdistrict/village. Then select the TPS number you want to know and click the recapitulation button. The TPS data, the number of voters in one TPS, and the number of voters based on gender will appear.

A full name, disguised NIK, and gender at the TPS will also appear on the bottom row.

Indonesian citizens who can use their voting rights during the 2020 Pilkada are those aged 17 years or over or have been married. Then, Indonesian citizens who are not members of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (Polri) and have been registered in the voter lists both in the DPT, Additional DPT, and Special DPT.

Furthermore, the Indonesian citizen is not being revoked of their rights to vote based on a court decision that has permanent legal force.

The public can also check their voting rights directly at the local KPU or in every district and sub-district. The KPU and local government officials will serve the needs and information related to the 2020 Pilkada.

Immediately go to the nearest TPS and ask the TPS officer to record you in the additional voter list if you are not in the DPT based on the results of the check.

The Ministry of Home Affairs also ensures that the population administration and civil registration office (Adminduk) remains open on 9 December to administer electronic identity card (KTP) of voter’s candidate for simultaneous Pilkada.
