Early November is the schedule for the distribution of wage subsidy assistance (BSU) batch II. People can immediately check it online.
The Ministry of Manpower has distributed direct cash assistance (BLT) of subsidized salaries or wage subsidy wages (BSU) to 12.19 million workers or 98.3 percent of the total target recipients until 23 October. They are the groups affected during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The aim is to maintain the purchasing power of the economy in the condition of adapting to new habits. BSU distribution is in two batches for four months (September – December 2020) to each beneficiary with a total of Rp2.4 million.
The government, according to the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah, on Tuesday, 27 October 27, has disbursed the first batch as of 23 October in five stages with a total budget of Rp14.6 trillion. The second batch is in early November.
The government budgeted the previous salary subsidy at Rp37.7 trillion, which targeted 15.7 million private workers with salaries below Rp5 million and registered as beneficiaries. Unfortunately, the data collected and submitted by the Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) until the deadline only reached 12.4 million workers. There are names submitted that do not meet the requirements because of invalid bank accounts, citizenship identity number (NIK) issues, or bank accounts with other people’s names.
“The total number of beneficiary recipients who meet the requirements from the Ministry of Manpower Regulations criteria is 12.4 million. We have distributed 98 percent of it or 12.1 million beneficiaries,” said Minister Ida in her official statement.
The Ministry of Manpower will transfer the remaining salary subsidy budget to honorary teachers to support their income.
Here’s an easy way to check if salary assistance has reached your account.
– Type kemnaker.go.id website into a search engine using a personal computer/laptop or a cell phone
– Click ‘register now’ in the upper right corner of the website.
– Complete the account registration.
Register for an account by filling out your data by input your NIK and your biological parents’ name. Make sure the NIK is active. Then fill in your e-mail address, phone number, and password.
– Then click “register now” at the bottom.
– You will receive the OTP code via SMS to the mobile phone number you registered.
– Activate the account using the code sent in SMS.
– Reopen the kemnaker.go.id page and log in.
– Complete a profile including a photo, personal bio, marital status, and domicile location.
– Visit your profile.
– Scroll to the bottom.
After completing this stage, there will be a notification like this:
“Congratulations You Get Wage Subsidy Assistance Batch 2”
We will transfer the subsidy assistance to:

Account number: ************
Then there’s the statement: “Have further questions? Send a complaint at our help center.” Contact the help center if your name has been registered but has not received the batch II assistance. You are confirmed as a BLT beneficiary if all data match.
Banking partners in this program are Bank BRI, Bank Mandiri, Bank BNI, Bank BTN. Meanwhile, the private banks are Bank BCA, Bank Danamon, CIMB Niaga, Bank Jatim, and several other private banks.
You can also check the name and account number by visiting the bsu.bpjamsostek.id site. However, this method is specifically for workers who receive SMS from BP Jamsostek. You can also download the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan application on the android and IOS platforms. You need to prepare some data that need to when confirming the account, such as NIK, full name, bank name, and account number in the savings book.
