Jakarta – Member of Parliament ask government to revoke decision for making teacher as a government contract employee not as a state official officers since 2021
Ali Zamroni, member of Commission X of House of Representative, said that decision will harmfull teachers.
“How teacher not included as candidate of state official officers, it is despotic. We are strongly refuse” Ali said to press, Tuesday (05/01)
According to Ali, if government could not give welfare and career guarantee to teacher, it is difficult hoping teacher as a model morally and spiritually
“State official officer status ought to see as state effort to present welfare and career guarantee for teachers. That is why they could deploy their effort to elevate teaching capability and became a model for students” Ali explained
Ali considered that goernment contract employee status is not match for teacher. Because this scheme have to evaluate every year and not 100 percent solution for teacher with contract status at this time
Ali, Gerindra Party Politician, remind that out put of Teacher work is not document that could evaluate mathematically. Teacher out put work is skill as well as characther from student
“If they could take and thrown away easily with contract status, how we imagine student out put in the future” Ali said
As member of Commision X, Ali will address his objection directly to Ministre of National Education and Culture at working meeting at house of representative when recess period finished
To be known, Indonesia government will not receive teacher as state official officer candidate but only as a government contract employee. This decision have approved by Ministre of State Apartus Empowerment-Beuracracy Reformation, Tjahjo Kumolo, and Ministre of National Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim
This policy will begin state official officer vacancy at 2021. However, teacher that became state official statues will be maintained his position untill retired period
