Indonesian Motor Association Sells 2,000 Superbike Tickets in Mandalika

JakartaThe Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) is ready to sell 2,000 tickets to the 2021 FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) which will be held from 19-21 November. This is after IMI entered into a cooperation agreement with PT Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) Nusantara Jaya and Dyandra Promosindo.

The collaboration was marked by the signing by the Chairman of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly as well as the General Chair of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo, MGPA CEO Ricky Baheramsjah and Dyandra Promosindo President Director Hendra Noor Saleh.

Bamsoet said the cooperation agreement also stipulates that IMI has the right to sell 2,000 tickets in various categories. Apart from IMI, MGPA through Dyandra Promosindo will also distribute WSBK 2021 entrance tickets to various other platforms. However, the agreement also explained that Dyandra Promosindo would not sell ticket prices below the prices sold by IMI.

“So, people who want to get tickets to watch WSBK 2021 through IMI, it is certain that they have got a very special price and starting today they can be ordered. Tickets can be purchased online starting October 23, 2021 with ticket prices starting from IDR 600,000 to IDR 19.5 million. There are three ticket packages for sale, namely the Sultan, Juragan and BOS packages. The price includes lodging accommodation, circuit tours to health care.

After signing the Cooperation Agreement at the Central IMI office, Jakarta, Tuesday (19/10) yesterday, the 20th Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives explained that from the maximum capacity of 188,000 spectators that can be accommodated by Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, the government has limited the 2021 WSBK performance.

From full capacity, the WSBK event can only be witnessed by 25 thousand spectators or about 15 percent of the maximum capacity. One of the conditions, ticket buyers must have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
