Karo – Indonesia Cyber Media Union (Serikat Media Siber Indonesia/SMSI) made tree planting program in cooperation with Karo District Police in a week after board staffing immediately. This touching program implemented in Batukarang Village, Payung sub-district, Karo district, Saturday (17/10). Durian and Mango tree are kind of tree which planted.
Batukarang villagers extremely enthusiast in receiving Head of Tanah Karo Police, Yustinus Setyo Indriyono, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and youth leaders, acting of Village Head, and Head of SMSI in Karo.
Acting of Batukarang Village Head, Firdaus Bangun, said that it is an honour for Batukarang villagers to receive group arrival lead by Head of Karo District Police.
“Coming of District Police along with SMSI Board of Karo District to Batukarang Village is an honour for villagers. Furthermore there are tree planting program and god willing it is very beneficial for our villagers” Firdaus Bangun said
Meanwhile, Setyo Indriyono said that Tanah Karo Police extremely support SMSI of Tanah Karo Board’s program. Planting tree program is an effort to take responsbility in keeping and maitaining village environment and will very benificial for villagers.
“We (Tanah Karo Police), extremely support to SMSI Karo in planting tree program because it is a responsbility to keep environmental sustainability and I asked villagers to take care of” Setyo Indriyono said
Setyo Indriyono appeal villagers to keep and develope Batukarang village “Let’s keep and develope Batukarang village. There were many Indonesia authorities coming from this village”
Meanwhile SMSI Chief of Tanah Karo, David Barus, said that after board staffing, he arranged planting tree as first programs to implement in initial period. David Barus hoped that tree planting program will be very benificial for villagers. SMSI of Tanah Karo will always arrange program for the development of Karo especially as social control
