Jakarta – Since the bribery case of the Mining Business License (IUP) which dragged the name of the former Head of the ESDM Office of Tanah Bumbu Regency, Raden Dwidjono, the name of the former Regent of Tanah Bumbu, Mardani H Maming has also been dragged into it.
Despite his status as a witness in the corruption trial conducted by Raden Dwidjono, a number of accusations were also directed against Mardani H Maming.
Finally, Raden Dwidjono made accusations of being involved in the case and being absent from the trial.
This was strongly denied by Mardani H Maming through his attorney Irfan Idham at the trial at the Banjarmasin Corruption Court.
“It is necessary for the public to know that Mardani was completely unaware of, let alone received, the flow of funds from the alleged gratification of the accused,” said Irfan Idham as reported by dailyhaluan.com, Tuesday (19/4/2022).
In addition to these accusations, a number of hashtags were echoed by several accounts through Twitter social media on April 18, 2022.
The latest hashtag that has appeared on twitter regarding Mardani H Maming is # CallPaksaMardani. This hashtag was allegedly due to the absence of the PBNU treasurer several times at the trial.
Through the analysis of the Haluan Creative team that works in the Social Media Management industry, there are suspicions that the hashtags related to Mardani H Maming were posted by robotic accounts.
The Haluan Creative team showed us screenshots of a number of accounts flashing the hashtag #CallPaksaMardani.
“From these accounts, if we examine further, it appears that these are accounts that have just been created. In fact, most of them have no followers,” explained Ricky, one of Haluan Creative’s analyst team.
Even Ricky explained, it was quite easy to recognize that these accounts were ‘bots’ or robots that were deployed through tweets that tended to be uniform.
“We can also see that the tweets made by these bot accounts tend to be uniform, even the exact same from one account to another,” explained Ricky.
According to Ricky, the use of robotic accounts for various purposes on Twitter is indeed common. Starting from promotions to campaigns.
Meanwhile, Mardani H Maming himself has not yet given his response regarding the hashtags about himself that appear through twitter.
