Tanjungpinang – Riau Island Official Office of Tourism will encourage tourism development continiously eventhough in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic.
“Riau Island is one of the biggest three tourism destination in Indonesia. That is why, in the middle of pandemic we hoped that tourism activities still moving forward” Baralimar, Head of Tourism Official Office in Tanjungpinang, Tuesday (26/01)
However, Buralimar emphasized that all have prepared with facilities which support health protocol in dealt with Covid-19
“God willing, same of tourism destination in Bintan and Batam are ready and completed for that” Buralimar said
Tourism site such as Logoi is read with many facilities to support new normal and health protocol.
“When Tourism Ministry and Economic Creative visited us, we explained that we encourage Riau Island tourism site to reveal in the middle of pandemic” Buralimar explained
Buralimar sure that economic activity in tourism sector of Riau Island will elevate economic development of Riau Island.
In the other hand, Ministry of Tourism and Economic Development, Sandiaga Uno, encourage Riau Island tourism site activity in the midts of pandemic. Sandiaga sure that if all tourism sites completted with good health protocol, it will push local economic.
“Like Riau Island today. After my visiting in same tourism destination sites, I am sure that tourism activities could be run but with keeping health protocol of Covid-19” Sandiaga emphasize
That is why, Sandiaga hoped that all parties could encourage to reveal Riau Island tourism activities with implementing health protocol of Covid-19
