Commemorating National Press Day, SMSI to Hold PENKEK Seminar

Jakarta – In commemoration of the National Press Day (HPN) which falls on February 9, 2021, the Indonesian Cyber ​​Media Union (SMSI) is holding several series of activities. One of them is a national seminar which will be held virtually on February 03, 2021 with the theme “National Economic Recovery and Creative Economy Awakening (Post-Pandemic PENKEK)”.

Present as a resource at the event were the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, I Wayan Koster, the Governor of Bali, Airin Rachmi Diany, Chair of APEKSI, Mardani H. Maming, General Chair of HIPMI. The event will be hosted by moderator Retno Intani (indonesiatoday.co), Aat Surya Safaat (sin.co.id) and the Indonesian Creative Network.

Chairperson of the Central SMSI HPN Committee, M. Nasir, said that the participants from the SMSI consisted of the Central SMSI Board, the Central SMSI Expert Council, the Chair and Management of the SMSI Provinces throughout Indonesia.

“Apart from the SMSI management, this event is also open to the public, especially people who are involved in the world of tourism as well as businessmen and SMEs,” said M. Nasir, former Secretary of the KOMPAS Editor.

Meanwhile, related to the invitation of the people involved in the world of tourism, a member of the Central SMSI Advisory Council, G.G. Ashok Kumar conveyed that the invitations that had been sent were: General Chairperson of the Indonesian Hotel & Restaurant Association (PHRI), General Chair of the Indonesian Travel Companies Association (ASITA), General Chair of the Indonesian Tourism Area Association (AKPI), Chairperson of the DPP ASPPI (Indonesian Tourism Actors Association), Chairperson of the Indonesian Tourism Scholars Association, Chairperson of the DPP Indonesian Tour Guide Association (HPI).
