Discussing the Activity Program, South Kalimantan Indonesian Motorcycle Association Holds Provincial Work Meeting in 2024

BANJARMASIN – The South Kalimantan Indonesian Motorcycle Association Provincial Management confirmed 9 IMI Branch Managers for the 2024-2027 term of service, at the South Kalimantan IMI Provincial Meeting at the Rodhita Hotel Banjarmasin, Saturday (10/2/20240).

This management determination resulted from the South Kalimantan IMI Provincial Pengprov plenary meeting some time ago. According to the Chairman of the South Kalimantan IMI Provincial Committee, Ir H Edy Sudarmadi, the presence of IMI management at the district/city level is a need for the organization that has been desired for a long time.

“The presence of district/city IMI District Heads will facilitate coaching and explore more racing potential from the younger generation in districts/cities in South Kalimantan. As well as expanding IMI’s cooperation with various parties, from regents/mayors, to cooperation with the Police Chief and Forkopimda ranks others,” explained Edy.

Edy said, the presence of district/city administrators does not reduce the authority of the Provincial IMI, because recommendations for automotive events and approval of automotive clubs at the district/city level remain the authority of the province.

According to Edy, Pemcab IMI is expected to accommodate and/or facilitate all automotive hobbyists and also develop athletes in the regions. The existence of this official forum is of course expected to produce reliable racers who will color and make South Kalimantan’s name proud at the local, regional, national and Indonesian levels in the international arena in the future.

In this provincial meeting activity, IMI South Kalimantan also gave awards to motorbike and car clubs as well as racing athletes. Including the Chairman of IMI South Kalimantan, Ir H Eddy Sudarmadi, who received the IMI Kalsel Award. Who traveled on a big BMW motorbike from Banjarbaru City to Brunei Darussalam.

The motorbike and car clubs that won the South Kalimantan IMI Award are Aufar MX, HRT Production, Galuh Auto Sport Borneo, Street Suspect, Bnelli Owner Indonesia, Option Platinum, ZX Owner South Kalimantan and the Banjarmasin Motor Box Community.

South Kalimantan racers who were also awarded awards were Hendra Rosady, Abyan Javier, Novan Febrian, Azel Savero, Bianda Humaira, Fawwal SL Farizi (grasstrack) Silahudin, Irwan Gemuruh (motocross) Ahmad Aufar, Reynata Eko Setiawan (drag bike), Roy Jimmy Jatmika (dragg bike), Nicolas Mayer (slalom), Ernisari (time rally) and H Rihan Variza (rally).
