Sampang – Flood at Sampang District in Madura island of East Java Province made Sampang Regent, Slamet Junaidi, angry to Province official as his superior. Junaide angry because flood caused by disfunction of two pump housings.
“From 5 pump housings, there are two disfunction pump housing in Delima and Panggung street” Slamet Junaidi said when he visited a trouble pump housing, Thursday (10/12)
Pump housing in Delima street was over head because not long used. Meanwhile, there is not a cable in Panggung stree’s Pump house stolen by irresponsible person.
Knowing there were two disfunction pump house, Slamet Junaidi called Heru Tjahyono, Provincial Secretary of East Java Province. Using high pitch, Junaidi expressed his angry because lack of responses from East Java Province Government. Moreever, Junaidi pressing East Java Province Government to help Sampang flood immediately.
Junaide explained to the press that 5 pump houses are aid from Province government with Rp 50 billion budget. Junaidi admit that he asked Head of Public Work and Public Housing of East Java office to maintan and care of pump housing especially in rainy season.
In addition, since the beginning of 2019 he always send letter to Governor through Public Work and Public Housing office to replace machine cable which lost in 2018 but never responded untill now.
Junaidi hoped synergy between District and Province Government to make an existing programs are useful for Sampang people.
Added that after communication and coordination, Provincial secretariat will send pump housing aid from Province government. Meanwhile, generator back up will be sent immediately
