Banten – Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital has been equipped with Retina and Glaucoma Center facilities obtained through Cash Waqf funding for Linked Sukuk and financing from BNI Syariah.
Inauguration of the Retina and Glaucoma Center Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital is scheduled to be inaugurated by the Vice President Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Dr. K.H. Ma’ruk Amin on Wednesday, (21 /10/2020) at 09.30 at the Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital Jalan Raya Taktakan KM. 1, Kel Lontar Baru, Serang City, Banten 42115. This activity was also carried out virtually with the Zoom Meeting User ID: 841 2257 7447 and Password, WAKAF01.
According to information received by the editorial staff, the activity will begin with a speech from the Chairperson of the Indonesian Waqf Agency Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohammad NUH, DEA and continued with the presentation of the Indonesian Waqf Board award to BNI Syariah for the achievement of the First Waqf-Based Financing with CWLS Yield Collateral.
The event continued with the awarding of collaboration with the Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital. In this activity, the award was also given to the Mayor of Serang City for the support of the Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital Operational Licensing and the Governor of Banten Province for the Operational Licensing Support of the Achmad Wardi Eye Hospital.
In this activity, the signing of the First MoU in Indonesia between BWI and BAZNAS of West Java Province in terms of the establishment of a Waqf-Based Eye Hospital and signing of the MoU with UNDP Commitment to Waqf Foundation of the Indonesian Muslim University (UMI) Makassar and the Commitment of Waqf Foundation for the Islamic Hospital of Surabaya (YARSIS) Rp. 10 billion.
