TANJUNG – Two South Kalimantan racers have successfully won full points in the opening series of the Kalimantan Region C MotoPrix National Championship at the Marido Circuit, Tabalong, Sunday (21/5).
As apahabar reported, this event brought surprise and pride, because the young South Kalimantan racer Hendra Rusady won full points in the 4T 150cc tune up expert duck class, while Ahmad Azell Savero won in the beginner 4T 150cc duck class.
Of the four national classes that were contested, two of them were won by the host racers.
Hendra, who is currently strengthening the Rizqy Putra Rudian Racing Team (RPRRT), has performed well since qualifying. Furthermore, the South Kalimantan racer at the 2021 PON also won two races at once.
Ahmad Azell Savero also performed a similar action. The Banjarbaru racer who strengthened GBP Racing Palangka Raya also earned full points in two races.
Meanwhile, the tune up novice 4T 150cc class, which also competed for national points, was won by M Yudi from Central Kalimantan.
Throughout the two races, the Palangka Raya racer from Kota Cantik Dit’s Racing always finished ahead of Abyan Zavier from Banjarbaru.
As for the 4T 150cc tune up rookie duck class, Ahmad Yandi Irawan also appeared to dominate. In two races, this rookie from East Kalimantan has always managed to overcome the resistance of the host racers.
The opening series of the Kalimantan Region C MotoPrix National Championship itself competed in a total of 21 classes with 300 starters. Out of these hundreds of starters, Hendra Rusadi has the right to be the overall champion in the 4T category.
Then the racer born in Tabalong, Abdul Hamid, won the title of overall champion in the 2T category. After years of strengthening the team from East Kalimantan, now Hamid is defending JHR 95 Hipmi Tabalong.
As for the automatic category, Muhammad Rayendra Akbari from Banjarmasin won the overall title of champion who strengthened the HRT84 33MRT Ek Tunner.
“Thank God, the Kalimantan Region C MotoPrix National Championship went smoothly and safely. All of this could not have been separated from the solid work of the committee and the cooperation of the local community,” said H Edy Sudarmadi, Chairman of the South Kalimantan Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI).
Edy said, in this event there will be local racers who can be relied on at the national and international levels, automotive events can also help lift South Kalimantan tourism,” he said.
