Jakarta – Vice Speaker of House Representive, Aziz Syamsuddin, condemned Syaikh Ali Jaber’s Stubbing insident . Aziz asserted that stubbing of Syaikh Ali Jaber was mournfull incident and asked state apparatues to reveal that incident and all perpetrators.
“Syaikh Ali Jaber stubbing is sad incident. I appealed all security forces to act decisively and reveal motifs and network perpetrators. Law should be enforced to give security need for the people. Security forces have to give guarantee to all clerics in their missionary endeavor” Aziz said
Aziz Syamsuddin saw the stabbing incident as an amoral behavior according to religion, ethic or law. As Vice Speaker of House of Representative for Politic and Security he asked Indonesian police not to judge “Mental disorder” to doer easily
This Golkar politician asserted that he trust local police authority to process this incident. As a politician from Lampung district election area, Aziz affirmed that he will oversee the process carefully
“I will oversee the progress of this incident continously because I hav to assure that this incident no repeat in the next time. I have to ensure that all moslem clerics feel comfort and secure in their dakwah activities among society” Aziz convinced
Former head of Commision III of House of Representative explained that Lampung is a peace teritory that is why this incident will disturb public order. Aziz hope that people would calm and clerics will continue their dakwah acitivities as usual.
“I pray for Syaikh Ali Jaber. Hope he get well immediately and forget from the sorrow that he felt and could continue his dakwah activity as an implementation of worship among society. I also hope to the other clerics that they could continue their activities without worry as usual” Aziz added
