Followed by Female Racers, The Grasstrack Region IV Kalimantan II National Championship is Born a New Racer

BANJARBARU – Racers Ican Naruto and Rayhan Benlaw took part in the second series of the Grasstrack Region IV Kalimantan National Championship at the Harmadji Circuit, Tungkaran Village, East Martapura, Banjar, Sunday (7/5).

 

The two crossers, who are still in their teens, performed well for each of them to win three classes at once.

 

Rayhan Benlaw, who incidentally is the hopeful crosser of South Kalimantan, won the beginner 4T 155cc standard trail (18 years), the beginner 2T 110cc/4T 4T 125cc standard (18 years) and the Kalsel 4T 125cc/2T 110cc modification duck.

 

In the standard 4T 155cc beginner trail class, this Tanah Laut crosser beat Raya Haidar (Balikpapan) and Gerry Solimar (Ketapang).

Furthermore, in the beginner standard 2T 110cc/4T 125cc class, Rayhan outperformed Silahudin (Kandangan) and Alvin MX (Kandangan).

 

While in the 4T 125cc/2T 110cc modification duck class from South Kalimantan, the crosser who strengthened the RBRT SKR HRT Racing Team finished earlier than Hermanto (Binuang) and Irwan Gemuruh (Pelaihari).

 

As for Ican Naruto, who was brought in by Bomber Sawit Racing from Klaten, won the standard 4T 155cc pro trail class, the standard 4T 155 trail open and the standard 2T 110cc/4T 125cc open duck class.

 

In the standard 4T 155cc pro trail class, Ican, whose real name is Ikhsan Wahyu Sudirman, outperformed Fernando Corokong (Balikpapan) and Ozaif Arkhan Madani (Rantau).

Meanwhile, in the standard 4T 155 open trail class, Ican stopped the resistance of experienced crossers Asep PKM (SMR Racing Team Kandanga) and Ozaif Arkhan Madani.

 

Meanwhile, in the standard 2T 110cc/4T 125cc open class, the owner of the starting number 147 again beat Ozaif Arkhan Madani and Giancarlo Fiesta (Pangkalan Bun) in third place.

 

In addition to competing in the four national classes, fierce competition also occurs in the women’s standard 4T 155cc trail class.

 

Nanda, who strengthened RCRT Pelaihari, managed to win by beating Fitri (Galuh Autosport Banjarbaru) and Mely Alpina (HPT Pelaihari).

Meanwhile, the non-racer adventure sport class, which attracted quite a lot of participants, was won by Haydori (Moraya Banjarbaru). Followed by Obet (BRU Batulicin) and M Ramadhani (Brotherhood Samarinda) in the next rank.

 

Taking place for two days from 6 May 2023, the second series of the Grasstrack Region IV Kalimantan National Championship went quite smoothly.

 

“Thank God, all the series of activities went smoothly,” said the Chairman of the South Kalimantan Indonesian Motor Association (IMI), Edy Sudarmadi.

 

“We hope that events like this will continue, so that they will motivate crossers in South Kalimantan to continue to develop better,” he added.
